What is Adjudication?
Adjudication refers to the onsite certification of a record attempt. It ensures the authenticity of the record through an official representative from the India Book of Records.
How can I avail the Adjudication facility?
You can request adjudication by submitting a separate application with complete event details. Send your request via email to record@indiabookofrecords.com.
Who verifies and certifies the record attempt?
An official Adjudicator from the India Book of Records (IBR) will be present onsite to verify and certify your record attempt.
What are the benefits of having an official Adjudicator?
You get instant verification of your record attempt, public recognition during the event, and official authentication of your achievement from IBR.
Will I receive a certificate for my record attempt?
Yes, once your record is verified, the Adjudicator will issue a provisional certificate onsite. Two original copies are usually presented during the certification ceremony.
Will my achievement get publicity?
Yes, your record and adjudication details will be featured on the official India Book of Records website and may also be shared with media present at the event.
Is Adjudication a paid service?
Yes, it is a paid service. Charges depend on factors such as location, number of records, Adjudicators, and duration of the event. Travel and accommodation for adjudicators must be arranged by the organizers.
How much does the Adjudicator service cost?
The standard fee for the Adjudicator service is ₹1,20,000 (approx. 2,000 Singapore Dollars), varying based on travel, record type, and event duration.
Do I need to submit evidence even if an Adjudicator is present?
Usually, no. However, in long events such as marathons, you must submit supporting evidence like logbooks or witness records, since the Adjudicator may not be present throughout.
Will Adjudicators bring their own measuring devices?
Generally yes, but for specific records like weight-based achievements, the organizers must arrange suitable weighing or measuring instruments.
Is a separate application required for Adjudicator services?
Yes, you need to submit an official Adjudicator request form along with your main record application.
What is the Fast Track Service for applications?
Fast Track Service allows processing within three working days. The fee is ₹45,000 (approx. 750 Singapore Dollars). You’ll receive the Record ID, guidelines, and decision via email after evaluation.
When will I receive my certificate?
Standard applicants get a digital certificate free of cost within 15 working days of approval. Physical certificate packs can be purchased for ₹9,000 (approx. 150 SGD).
Do Fast Track Applicants receive special certificates?
Yes. Fast Track record holders receive a free digital and printed certificate pack within 10 working days after approval. Extra copies cost ₹1,500 (approx. 25 SGD) each.
Can I get personalized certificates?
Yes, India Book of Records offers Personalized Extra Certificates featuring custom details like company name, product info, and special messages. Group discounts apply for orders above 50 certificates.
